Does the A-League and Mariners need a bigger server?  Becauses at key times I sometimes try to log on the A-League & Mainer site and often get the following message Server Application Unavailable
The web application you are attempting to access on this web server is currently unavailableMy guess is the Server is to small and whoever is in charge I guess FFA should increase the server capacity. Not good for a sport were the supporters hot spot is net savvy and not as much into traditional media. Anyone else finding similar problems??? |

Yeah it happens to me a fair bit on those sites as well.
Fourfourtwo.net.au is pretty bad as well.

Also anytime there is a A-League game played the server is cactus.
Is the FFA as professional as we think?

. yep, seems to be worse when the games are on, monday mornings, etc
. such as 5 mins to go wellington vs newcastle
. at least the (disappointing) result was soon available on this forum
. but yeah, sure is a nice plan to win supporters: games not available on free to air nor the internet

Either FFA are too pov to invest in decent servers or they are currently in development of totally new websites which will go on new servers and are leaving the old ones too rot. I know which one is more likely.
What I do know is that some clubs have been told that they can't put some content on their websites due to the server load it will create. ie. Live text commentary.

It's really starting to shit me because I don't have Fox.
It's bad for the league and the sport that you have to be a resourceful, fanatical nerd to find out any info from obscure websites and forums (no offense, of course)
