Hear hear, I spend half my day trying to decipher things, a little punctuation can go along way. It is also much easier to get your point across.

Dru, I think Bruce would prefer to be referred to as Aussie too. Drawing upon one's ethnicity to substantiate one's ability is horse sh*t, and belongs in the How to be a Nazi handbook.

. and if you are using that as an argument most of the mariners have ethnic origins - it is just that they are still european

Bruce was born in the USA, and moved to Australia when he was 3. In my books, that makes you an Aussie.

radinho.....I do suspect from your past posts you are very young, how young I don't know, but if this last post of yousrs is an indication of age, about 12/13 would come close. It's a very uneducated comment mate, & one that will get under the skin of many.

getting back to the point. I agree with Moore's comment. The goal last week when Andre came on happened because the knew where the play was going. Too many times you see players look up after a break a think. "What now" where is every one and the opportunities especially in front of goal don't happen. Esp. in Adelaide when Kwassie had the ball and could be heard thinking "Oh what now!"

A great way to endear yourself to a forum just bagg out the most consistant manager in the history of A-League and one manager which 99% of people have the utmost respect for. Radinho i have accepted and agreed with some of your post but this one reaked of "flossypants" in style and facts.
Oh by the way i beleive Malik Buari and Jonas Salley are from africa and have played in the A-League.

True Queensland are in crap form but i agree that the A-league quality of football does need to improve but im blaming Lawrie Mckinna in last weeks friday paper they were talking about crowds and he is going on about that crowds would rather see the mariners get positive results over quality of football and in my that is SOOOOOOOOO wrong and also he stated he would rather have the average Aussie grown player that can get the job done then a Brazillian import with flare. Sorry to say but he is a dick and why dont we buy some foreign players coz right now we are like Ku Klax Klan F.C and i am not trying to stir any cultural outrage but if i joined the mariners i would be there darkest player there and im like just a lightly tanned guy so why dont we sign some ethnics besides Andre Gumprect but see he is still Angelo yea anyway lets sign some South Americans or Africans to replace Andre and Tommy as there contracts expire at the end of this season and also they are over 30 so yea they can go and get there senior cards and bugger off. But we could supposedly grow a brazileroo lol or we could be different and sign the first African in the A-league why hasnt anyone signed anyone from there yet since Dwight Yorke has African descent and he was the first person to win the Jonny Warren Medal and Bruce Djite is African-American and he is currently the leading A-league goal scorer so lets sign some Africans and South Americans and lets get the biggest Marquee out of that and Lawrie take my advice. You are very young and I can understand where your coming from. However remember how the Mariners have been set up and from where we came. A short history for you. The Central Coast was and still is very much a rugby league strong hold in many households. Especially so in the local media. Also the CCM up until recently had the least amount of money to spend, and are by a huge margin the smallest population base. The plan developed by the broad was to develop locals as when the A-league matured our small population and ground size would make it difficult for the CCM to compete with others in a financial war. Also by developing locals create a relationship with the local community and hopefully turn the league area also into a football area. Additionally and this year to enhance the local development a great goal was aspired to to create AUSTRALIA's CENTER OF EXCELLENCE IN FOOTBALL. To create this centerer requires the development of coaches and of course locals. CCM are the only A-League club to have a feeder club in the Lighting. We also are the only club to have junior under 15 & 16 teams. So while I appreciate all the great players from different parts of the world you may also give some through to what your club is trying to do. In closing I grew up in Fairfield & Liverpool and let me assure Lawie has an excellent reputation in these areas as he was assistant coach at Sydney United and the Croatians use to tell me he was the best coach of undeveloped / player with potential they had ever come across. That by the way from those who said it was a huge nay MASSIVE as the Croatians who said it had heaps of cred!!!! Lawie has also been chosen by the board to develop CCM's center of excellence. He has three assistances Alex Tobin I personally think the best central defender Australia ever has and that includes Lucas, and Mr Ferguson who is considered by a number of media types to be one of the best midfield players Scotland has ever had. Not a bad team. So look at what the club is trying to do and add value to it if you can. By the way keep blogging but learn my young blogger.

This kid is also ignoring that we're probably one of the biggest "Anglo enclaves" in the country outside of Sydney's Northern Beaches and the Shire. Are we racist for our forefathers and mothers in dispersing in such a manner once they got here?? No!!!!
Radinho = banned!!!! (pretty please mods??)

. to add to midfielders comments:
. it does do much for the credibility of the system you have set up if at the first opportunity you recruit as many 'foreign' players as you can

When I see an over-priced import succeed and show some faith the following season (that would mean rejecting more lucrative offers), I'll become a convert. Until then I still think the likes of Boogs are money well spent.

When I see an over-priced import succeed and show some faith the following season (that would mean rejecting more lucrative offers), I'll become a convert. Until then I still think the likes of Boogs are money well spent. Adding to Floss, when / if Boogs leaves we get a transfer fee. The fee is income if we but a big name OS player thats expenditure. Thus in developing local talent we also assure some future cash flows for the best that we develop. This in time as the plan goes will bring some of the countries best youth players to CCM. Why u ask because we give youth a time to shine and they can be seen by OS clubs. Cause in the end its all about the bills and paying them, it is a hard world.
