Well just wondering what your opinions are.
As you would all know I have a high opinion of ZULLO and Mcandrew, fromt he A-league, but I also rate James Troisi from Newcastle Untied in England. Plays in a similar role to ZULLO.
I have been hearing he is making serious inroads at St james Park, with big dukes there, he is thriving.

How many times have you actually seen Zullo play? Plus why do you insist in putting is name in caps?

Well I have seen what he has done this year so far, I have also been involved in the National Youth Championships over the years and I can vividly remeber a young guy by the name of zullo starring in that championship. So Andy who do you think are AUS most promising young players.

Just to name a few:
Burns Djite Patafta Milligan Bridge Vukovic Boogard Leijer Spiranovich Musialik Vidosic Williams Jedinak
Haven't seen enough of Troisi, Zullo or McAndrew to be honest.

Jedinak??? Although I respect your opinion, sure he is a good player, but I dont think he is in the same league as the other you have mentioned.
even bridgey, has alot to prove, sure he had a few good games last year, but always to me seems to be a tad lazy.
Boogard... WHAT A CLASS PLAYER!, solid takes no shit, thats what a cebtre back is, hopefully he can stay injury/ilness free and go on to bigger and better things (ie: play for the jets lol jokes, dont take it as trolling).
Hopefully this weekend You will get to see 1st hand the excitment and buzz of ZULLO

I think the only difference between him and the others is that he doesn't play for the Olyroo's. IMO, he really is up to their standard. His form towards the end of last season, when he was on a short-term contract was brilliant yet under-rated by many. He was able to keep our captain, Noel Spencer, out of the squad, that tells you something. This season, his partnership with Hutcho in the middle of the park has been brilliant. He is magnificent at man-marking players out of games and his form was a major contribution to our defensive record and the fact that we are top of the table. He has also shown how versatile he has been as well, being able to play in both CDM and CB when needed for his team. IMO, he is the biggest threat to Ian McAndrew in the squad IMO.

I see Jedinak as a calmer Muscat.
Gives away alot of niggly fouls that dont always get yellow cards. I think he has got a red before???
Has the size (from the little i have seen him he hs the skills as well).

yeah he has had a red before. i reckon he is one of the best in the a league in the defensive mid role good enough to rival muscat, colosimo and milligan in that role and in a few years time he will be challenging the likes of grella and culina for their spots in the national team.

You can't compare Jedinak to Muscat - Muscat puts in vicious, cheap shots. He's deliberately ended several players careers. Muscat is a coward, and a thug.
Jedinak is a pretty physical player, and does give away fouls and get booked as a result, but I don't think of him as a dirty player, and he certainly doesn't go for the cowardly cheap shots of Muscat and several other players.
He was red carded, although that wasn't a dirty challenge. He went in for a 2 footed challenge and made contact with Seo - but the replay clearly shows that he tried to pull out after he launched himself, so it was nothing more than overzealous. Yeah, a red was deserved, but he didn't mean it.
I think our latest troll has as much of a tissue problem with zullo as Andy Harper does with Juninho......

And i honestly dont remember the incident you are talking about

dirty player or not, he's never done any of the cheap shots Muscat is renowned for. Muscat takes 'dirty player' to a whole new level.

Yeah, a red was deserved, but he didn't mean it. i reckon that was an awful challenge, he was in the air from somewhere in the next postcode and hit seo high with two feet. he did want to pull out, you can see it, but it was too late when he'd already launched himself. that said, it is the only time he's been outright dirty in my book. the rest of the time he's simply niggly and hard, sometimes he'll miss a little, but when you make as many challenges as you do in that part of the field it's inevitable. really, you'd be more worried if he didn't pick up a few cards. muscat is a similar player but with a streak of viciousness mixed with cynicism through him. his marshalling of his midfield and his distribution mean that he still plays an exceptional role for his team though. ditto for tiatto - terrific player, complete loon. jedinak has the potential to be that sort of talismanic midfield presence, but hopefully stays away from the loony pills that tiatto and muscat seem to chomp away on to build the bloodlust. EDIT - for that red card on seo, he knew he'd done the wrong thing, took his red like a man and went straight off with no complaints. i really like that sort of integrity in a player - no whinging, no histrionics, take the decision and go. joel griffiths could learn a thing or two...

Jedinak is a bigger man then Muscat and if he can run all day i think he could be a better Defensive mid-fielder then Muscat.
