Dibo - are you ignoring that Seo clearly dove after being "nailed" by Jedinak?? The replay _clearly_ showed contact was made...... well, nowhere significant really. It looked nasty at the time, but after seeing the replay and taking Seo's record as a cheating bitch into account, then I reckon the only reason Jedi copped the red was because of the two footedness of it all.
Etc. and so forth.

Yellow with a stern warning at best. By dishing out reds for an offence that looks ten times as bad as it is because someone (Seo) cheated, then all we're doing is further enforcing a "hey kids, it's okay to dive and milk a penalty/card/free kick" culture.
Do you want that sort of thing junking up football for the next 30 years Dibo, do you??

Do you suggest that we should base cards on what the tacklee does, regardless of what the tackler does???

He jumped in with 2 feet and made contact - there's no choice BUT to give a red. When I say he wasn't being dirty, I meant that he wasn't intending to take out Seo. I thought it was nothing more than a desperate attempt to get the ball, I don't think he tried to play the man at all. When I think if a player is dirty or not, I think what his intent is - if he's trying to take out the player, or if he just makes an innocent but poor challenge. serious is right - Seo dove like a bitch. There wasn't much contact, and to make it worse the part of his body that he was holding wasn't even what Jedi touched!! That was pretty much when I started to hate that little bitch... Muscat is certainly a skillful and effective player, I wouldn't try to say otherwise - but I still hate him Jedi is a top player, and he's only going to keep getting better. It's good to see he's holding up as CB

It was a bad tackle from Jedi and he completely deserved the red.
I'm with Sandman on this one. He wasn't being dirty when he dove in and you can see it because just before he hits Seo, he tries to pull out.
Bad Tackle- yes! Red card- yes! Dirty play- no!

stlil think Jedi is good enough to play for the Socceroo's. Big call so early in his career without the under 20 & 23 squad I have listed below OZ midfielders who have played over the last three years its a lot of talent to beat. Not saying he has not got it just a tad to early to put him in this class Bresciano, Mark Cahill, Tim Carle, Nick , Carney, David , Emerton, Brett Grella, Vince , Kewell, Harry , Sterjovski, Mile , Thwaite, Michael , Valeri, Carl , Wilkshire, Luke Elrich, Ahmad

Bear, I'd go with both.
As for Jedi's red. That was a 2 footed lunge and regardless of his initial intent = red card.
Mind you, the same rule applies to hitting the AR in the Jatz but apparently thats ok nowadays.
Go figure
