The Olyroos drew in Lebanon during the week.
Lebanon a war torn country of about three million (i.e. New Zealand size) with little training facilities, who we smashed in Gosford. GA said we needed plenty of goals, None came.
Looking at GA coaching record, Northern Spirit two and a half seasons then sacked. Assisted Cranky Frankie six years(remember Cranky Frankie had one year as captain coach of the Brisbane Strikers).
Two being fair three months under Guss. Then one and a bit years as Aussie coach, going into Asian as potential winners but not getting past the group stages.
Always got an excuse maybe could become the best coach Australia has ever seen. However it worries me that he is still considered good enough to lead a national team.
As the chant at the Northern Spirit was from season one "Arnold Out"
Perhaps I am being to hard but I would prefer a double switch at both Socceroo and Olyroo level.
