Worse things in the world than firing a deadbeat and hiring the HAL's most succesful manager. Good to see your optimistic.

Coming soon to the Cove "Arnold Out", not to kick anyone while they are down but gives me a certain degree of smugness to see the former bling implode

Jaza, Branko cant be deemed a deadbeat after so few games. Your owners, board, this weeks chairman and the rest of the organisation are complete f-wits who make Con and Remo look good.
Was it only last week that the current MD claimed he wanted to make you the biggest sports team in Aus?? Hopefully next weeks incumbent will be more sensible.
Easy out for weak management to fire the coach - but Zdrillic still has a contract - go figure
Arnold?? Kossie?? You're avin a larf.
Arnold has failed hopelessly at every coaching gig he has had and Kossie massively underperformed with a great Adelaide squad (as Viddie is proving on a weekly basis).

HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!
*deep breath*
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!
Oh Sydney FC....... a plague o'er your house forever more. Until Lowy sods off anyway - he should stick to being an FFA type and leave Sydney be - there's no need for the rebirth of Hakoah and Sydney City in the A-League.
Would love to hear the Cove's response to Kosmina - I want them to sign him just for that. ;D ;D ;D

They should sign Mori - probably the most successful coach at state level over the last couple of years.

They should sign Mori - probably the most successful coach at state level over the last couple of years. I could win the league with Adelaide City - such is their clout.

Worse things in the world than firing a deadbeat and hiring the HAL's most succesful manager. You're signing Mckinna? No way he's ours! Merrick? McKinna? Neither of them would touch your club with a barge pole, given that they're both very content being able to call the shots and decide who is in their squad and who leaves (like a good football MANAGER should). Sydney however, just wants a coach. I'd like to think both Merrick and McKinna would view the Sydney job as a poisoned chalice.

I really think it is time for there to be some sort of enquiry as to what is happening at SFC.
Since winning in V1, Dramas in the board room, (thanks for the bankroll). Dramas in the management of the club. Dramas with the management of the team (4 in 3 years FFS) Dramas with the players (thanks for the striker).
This is not helping the HAL. SFC should be the biggest club in NSW and one of the biggest in the HAL. Games between us and them should be massive derbies (especially after V1), while games between them and Melbourne should bring out the classic NSW v Vic rivalry. As it is they are becoming a sad joke, totally dysfunctional.
Will they be 2nd team to follow the Knights?

On your points Ursus, yes, the FFA - HAL operations people should be asking some questions of Sydney FC. They are not doing their bit for the HAL, by imploding all over the headlines every season. But it would be kinda unique for Frank, as Chairman of the FFA, to allow such an enquiry to happen - when he may well be, at least, some of the cause for the unrest at Sydney FC. I still can't believe they got rid of Littbarski in such a fashion after winning the bloody comp, and then totally pissed off Yorke straight after. Let alone what else has happened in the meantime. Soap Opera FC, for sure.

Branko's assistant Aytec Genc has also been given the flick.
That means that Anthony Crea will be in charge unless Shitney appoint someone before our game.

Anthony Crea? Isn't he the young guy who was in Australian Idol who later came out as being gay? And who is going to be the guy backing up for him, umm, you know what I mean!

er... 3rd and 2nd is not bad at all, with whatever squad you've got. Premiership: 1st and 2nd exactly. more league points than any other manager too over those two seasons - 76 compared to merrick's 71, and that includes merrick winning the league by 12 points last season. merrick's still only up to 85 after 9 rounds of this season. lawrie's only made it to 73 as of last round, with 56 for seasons one and two.

Really one has to ask if Sydney expect to make it past season 5!?
Totally farken looney they are! No wonder Turnbull and La Paglia have distanced themselves.
Still it is a worry, anything could happen this Sunday!

They can't beat the jest as yet. 3 coaches in 1-1/2 seasons, beats Sydneys 4 in 2-1/2. Anyone for another bid?....going...............going..........
