How did this happen?
Liverpool are no where near the best team in England let alone Europe!
In all fairness to them they did bloody well to get back from 3 goals down, Milan must be gutted that they faced Dudek on the 1 day out of 20 that he has a good one! If there are any scouse fans in the forum, well done and enjoy it while you can!

Yea... I'd be gutted if I was done by a cheating Goal Keeper in a shoot out. But coming back from 3:0 down well done. But they won't be defending the title next year  |

If you concentrate all your efforts in Europe and can't even get top 4 in England you don't deserve to be there.
It's called the champion's league so technically each nation should only have 1 spot.

they deserved it, they've played excellent this season and who ever can score 3 goals in one half against a defencive italianside than they deserve to be the champions of europe

I think it's an incredible effort to come back from 3:0 down. Deserving to win that game is different to deserving to be the champions of Europe. They couldn't even come fourth in England!

I think liverpool should be more concerned with becoming less of a laughingstock in England than there performance in UEFA tournaments. Busy year for Liverpool.

Im the first to admit that we finished WAY of the mark last time around. Weve had that many false dawns it's not funny!
However this coming season represents the teams first with Benitez's mark on it proper(full pre-season / time to identify who he wants etc). Winning the champions league in his first season wasnt a bad return you know!
Busy year like Omni says.
We will see, but for now...in Rafa i trust.
Gotta say i thought 'laughingstock' was a bit harsh, heheheheheheh!!
It's not like we are a shambles from boardroom to pitch, blowing our cash on getting racial players/criminals off the hook and playing at Elland Rd is it?

The increase in fans was when HK and MV were there...now we like knowing that whenever we log onto their website there's going to be some big news, good or bad ;D
The latest news is that there is a big cat of some kind prowling around Elland Road, they're not sure what kind yet. Maybe Kevin Blackwell should put a white shirt on its back and let it loose!
