i was at paddy maguires for the match. hoping that the mighty preston north end will join the top fligh after 44 years. but it was not to be. at the end of the night the better team won. i knew it was not to be a good night after the bar ran out of kilkenny so early on. full credit to the west ham fans, deadset champions they were. graceful in victory. after the match ended my mate and i stood at the back singing preston songs and the west ham fans came up and shook our hands. it was good to see a preston local on holidays coming and singing with us. it was a good night. it was just not to be
