just had a look at the new signing...looks like we just snapped him up now to beat other clubs to him. he wont play a part this year.

35 goals in 40 games in a lower league has to mean something, hopefully with a fully professional pre-season under his belt he can get up to championship (or EPL

) physical standard and bang some in for us.

A controversial late penalty for Leeds salvaged the automatic promotion hopefuls a point at Coventry.
Gary McSheffrey put the home side in front with a low shot after being found by Dele Adebola, who held off three defenders before setting him up.

But Leeds were given the chance to pull level when Andrew Whing was adjudged to have handled after 88 minutes.

Sounds like Joel had a blinder for the reserves against WBA.

The deadlock was broken after 15 minutes when Nick Gray popped up at the far post to put Leeds in front following good work from Griffiths and a flick on by Bakke.

Midway through the half he made the run to connect with Joel Griffith's through ball and hit a low drive past the keeper to make it 3-1.

Griffiths had been lively throughout and it was the Australian international who was brought down for the missed spot kick ten minutes from time.
