Jens Lehmann saved Juan Roman Riquelme's last-minute penalty to send Arsenal into the Champions League final at Villarreal's expense. Villarreal 0-0 Arsenal (agg 0-1) As much as I dislike Arsenal it's good to see an English team make the European Cup final again! But if Tottenham claim 4th spot in the Premiership I will be cheering for Barca or Milan

Its funny how both finalists each year have been battling to qualify for the following year. Show's there are other strong teams there too

that's true. i think there's been some great football played by the top few teams in the EPL over the last couple of years.
while i don't like the arse as a club, their football in particular can be breathtaking at times. watching vieira linking with henry and bergkamp in past years is something i'll not soon forget. beautiful displays of midfield play mixed with speedy runs onto perfect passes and skilful finishing, simply gorgeous.

yeah they were better than villareal, maybe not this morning, but at home they dominated. they did their job today, and thats all they needed to do. Great to see the diver, riquelme's penaly saved, it was a soft decision anyway. Riquelme is good but he's just like most of the south americans in my opinion, they'll dive and cheat to get what they want.
what ever happened to the good old game where you didn't go down unless someone had actually got a chainsaw and hacked your leg off?

Apart from Mariners and Fulham, the only other team I would pay to watch is Arsenal. Some of their football is just sublime.
Except for last night where they played for 0-0.
Arse v Barca could easily be a classic
