Appears that Aussie hayden Foxe is on the verge of signing with Leeds United if all goes well with his trial. He would be a great signing for us

Mmmmmmm maybe, but then someone who urinates over a bar ain't much of a role model? Plus with his injuries in recent years there has to be concerns?

I'll assume you mean now, not the Viduka/Kewell days. Fair cop, hopefully this year is the year.
Griffiths didn't fare to well at LUFC we'll see how Foxe goes.

Griffiths never had a decent chance to establish himself with all the problems with his old club.....give him time i think he'll do alright. As for foxe....we shall see what happens

He showed a bit of potential when at West Ham, but after he went to Pomey he went backwards. If it doesn't work out at Leeds may be we will see him in the A-league next season?

He played last night in leeds 2-2 draw with some norwegian team i think he would be a decent signing for leeds as long as he can prove his fitness as he hasnt played in a year

just checked up on h.foxe - made the cut with leeds and is on books. played one game so far in Carling cup as a sub.
the only aussie junor to go through the academy at Ajax, then went to japan before joining westham and then portsmouth. had problems with foot and now getting fit again.
his brother (Damian) plays for blacktown city as CB and has been their for past 10 years or so. Good player. used to coach him and hayden when he played yl at melita
