Hey guys,
for all of you who care about what I'm getting up to in the UK, yesterday I landed a job as Media Manager of Gillingham Football Club (my dad's boyhood club) in League 1. We play West Ham tomorrow in our final trial before League 1 starts against Huddersfield on Saturday week.
Bear, sorry mate, but we're going to kick some Hammer arse!!
I'm also enjoying the sun (while it's here), sinking heaps of piss, and playing cricket .. oh yes, and missing the Mariners and Marinators like crazy!

That's absolutely fantastic news Glen! ;D Gillingham are my dads' and best mates' team, and my second team behind Grimsby Town. I hope to get to a couple of Gillingham's northern away matches this year. It's such a shame that Town blew promotion last year, it would have been great to be able to see both my teams playing at Priestfield. Well i hope you're having a great time buddy, and that you're happy in your new job and new surroundings!

Bear, sorry mate, but we're going to kick some Hammer arse!! I regretfully retract that comment... Gillingham 1 - West Ham 2, but a great performance by the lads in the second half .. Huddersfield watch out on Saturday!! Most of the stuff on the website is my handiwork .. and Grimsby, you know I kept saying I wanted to see a Gills v Mariners game with you, so bring on the FA Cup draw!!

Gillingham v Millwall is going to be good buy you guys are going to have to lift you game against Brentford - we are playing OK with a team largely made up from the youth squad - do you go to away games glen006?

yeah Millwall at home in 12 days, I can't wait!
Been a while since an update, sorry guys .. not much has changed, we're playing tomorrow night at home against Sc**thorpe, we've only got a win and a draw from our first 5 games, with a squad of 19, which is tough!
I'm not going to away games yet, but hopeful of suggesting it with the chairman, as I have to do match reports off the radio which is bloody hard.
Sweating on the closure of the transfer window, we've bid for a player and waiting to hear.
Other than football still playing cricket (equalled my highest score of 25 on sunday!) and been up to London a couple of times since, I'm desperate for Newcastle and Hearts to be drawn in the UEFA Cup at some stage, there will be a road trip for sure!!
