Yes, looks like Fox want to go straight after the Sydney FC V Central Coast Mariners game, which would be great, if I wasn't going to that game. We need to find a pub with the game on!

I watched the Sunderland Coventry game on monday, i think it was a good game, probally could have been better than what it was their crosses were very bad, i think watching that game it was very similar to the A-League but that is just basied on one game and it is the first game of the season, give it to december then i think we could really start compareing the championship to the a-league

from the games i have seen, there really is little difference between the championship and the a-league

I cannot say that i have seen a championship game. What do u guys really think? Is the a league comparible in standard and crowds to the championship?

Personally in my honest opinion the standard of the a-league is not as high as the championship and in terms of crowd attendance the championship is far greater than the a-league.
Though it is a well established league that has been around for many years compared to this only being the a-leagues 2nd year

Certain A League players would go ok in the Championship but at best, our general standard is probably League 1 (a level down)

I'd say the A-League sides could probably hold their own in a relegation battle in Championship, crowds are much better, even Leeds pull 15k and their fans are boycotting.
