There was probably not a great deal between Terry and Gerrard. Either way England would have got a great captain - more effective than the last and more worthy of a starting spot.

I think Becks did a job and at times was superb he did have the to occasional lapse though.Terry will do a massive job for them theyll still be shit though lol

Becks has been injured and only just come back for Real Madrid.
Lennon deserves a start on the right anyway! If he improves in the same way this season like he did last he could be right midfield for England for many years!

They were 4-0 at half time. They're looking pretty good without Sven. They might finally start doing something good on the international stage.

Thank god the Sven era is over! Good win for England but they have to perform in 2 years at the euro championships (in fact they have to get there first)
