READING SIGN BOZANIC
Reading boss Steve Coppell has completed the signing of Australian teenager Oliver Bozanic on a two-and-a-half-year contract.
The left-sided midfielder, 18, has played for his country’s under-20 team and first had a trial with the Royals more than two years ago.
Director of football Nick Hammond told official club website http://www.readingfc.co.uk: “He is a really gifted left-footed player.
“We've been trying hard to identify really talented young players, both on our doorstep and abroad, because there are good opportunities and value for money.”
BARCLAYS PREMIERSHIP TRANSFERS
Bozanic said: "I'm very excited - I can't wait to get started.
"It's been a long time coming and I can't wait to get out there and get playing.
"I've been back and forth a few times, I've finally got it sorted and I'm really excited."
