Seriously, how good has this guy been playing since he moved to Spurs?? I never really considered Tottenham worth watching before he came along and now I try to catch them as much as possible just to watch him in action, 'cause the man has got some mad skills........... he's a striker in the Rooney styling in that he's not an out-and-out striker, but more of an "Attacking Forward who has gelled really well with his new team". That, and he's got a lethal shot on goal as well. And if you squint your eyes just that little bit he could pass for Tommy P's brother. Thoughts??

Well, I already know him since 2001 as he joined Leverkusen. He was very talented from the beginning, but had times when he missed the goal many many times. Even in 2006 that happened from time to time, but he got very stable now and he was already capable of doing unbelievable things when he was younger.
I am not able to follow English football, but I heard that he preserved his good shape this season. At the beginning of 2006 he wasn't worth the money they paid for him. At the end of the last season he was close to that, but I doubted his stability. Maybe Tottenham is the right team for him and Robbie Keane is perfect for him as well

His 1st touch is just fantastic. Be interesting to see if Spurs can hold onto him for long?? With Manure rumoured to be ready to offload Saha (ching, thanks for the 12.5mil suckers) he would suit their style very well.

ALL CLASS.
We need to do everything we can to keep him. Uefa Cup qualification is a must to keep him around. I know most players al say it, but he seems to genuinely love the club and its fans. Hope its the truth and he isnt just saying what we want to hear.
Him and robbie keane have developed a great combination. Each of them seem to know what the other is thinking.
Love watching him and my beloved spurs play

just watched the highlights of spurs vs middlesborough over at footytube, ...berbatov's a poet in boots. Set up their first goal for keane, and his volley for their second was just beautiful to watch. And yeah, tommy's bro if you blink, haha!

i actually dont think berbatov wud suit manu very well. but agreed that UEFA qualification is an absolute must to keep him.
berbatov is just a master of his class and well deserves his spot in the team of the year. keane and berbatov are the form partnership in the league over the back end of the season

He has scored 8 goals all year I think. Is that really enough for a striker in such a big team in the EPL???

Berbs and Keane have both scored 21 goals in all competitions actually, with Berbatov scoring 11 in the league to date, and claiming a nice figure of 10 assists (equal 5th in league).. see his goal this morning? that turn was class

Not enough for the league. Get rid of him. Shit. How's the view down there?? And like Gibbsy said - he does a shitload of stuff off the ball as well...... his through balls and assists are 'world clarsh' all the way.
