Fat Sam is trying to host a Boro old boys reunion, with Viduka already signed and Maybe Geremi on his way to the cartoon army, now I hear that Steve Round, the coach that we sacked last season for being to negative is on his way to The theatre of nightmares to join with Nigel Pearson. What next? Maybe the Jawdees will hijack Juninho's move to Hull City? after all he is 34, just the right age for Fat Sam. Maybe the Jawdees are trying to replicate the Boro and the fun that we have had in the last decade, 5 cup finals one in Europe, 1 cup win and qaulifiying for Europe twice and beaten FA Cup Semi Finalists twice. Not bad for a small club.

Gareth Southgate and Roy Keane were interviewed on Talksport this morning.
Alan Brazil asked them both what their expectations were for next season.
Keane said that he was aware of Sunderland's previous disapointments in the Premiership and it would be a big step for his players, so to win a game before Christmas and perhaps avoid the drop and finish 4th bottom.
Southgate said that he hoped to win the Carling Cup and be in contention for a Champions League spot or even win the title and it would be nice to finish off the season by winning the FA cup. Then the the following season, go on to win the Champions League.

Brazil then said 'that's seems a bit ambitious Gareth?'



To which Gareth replied, 'well Roy started it'.
