i'm hoping this doesn't eventuate cos this could lead to manu domination with the young squad they have managed to assemble, however this article makes for interesting reading: uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/06072007/58/premiership-tevez-debate-rages.htmlseems the EPL will be watching any transfer deal over tevez very carefully after the botched up dealings over the past season culminating in the $5.5 mill fine to the hammers. appears most likely that if manu are to get tevez it will be on a year loan to begin, with the option to buy him after the situation around player ownership is fully understood (even though he is apparently owned outright by west ham...load of bullshit) i personally want him at the gunners now that we are without our number one striker

sheffield united should be pissed, £2 million to west ham and £10 million to Kia Joorabchian on loan - a £5.5 million fine is bugger all compared to what they will make in the premiership. though it's not all west ham's fault the english FA have made a dog's breakfast of the whole thing, they should legaliase 3rd party ownership of players as it is likelt to be the new way of doing business.

Admittedly our Gooners are a little thin up front but Tevez would totally break team spirit and would not fit in with the give and go Arsene Wenger football that is played at the Emirates. Plus, he's an ugly little twat--he'll fit right in with that muppet Rooney.

Tevez joins United - The World Game
Carlos Tevez has finally completed his protracted move to Manchester United.
The Premier League champions confirmed that the 23-year-old Argentina forward had joined on a two-year loan.
Tevez, who has been the subject of a long running Premier League investigation into third-party ownership, has been training with United all week.
However, he is extremely unlikely to be involved in United's opening game of the season against Reading on Sunday (Monday AEST), instead being pencilled in by Sir Alex Ferguson for next weekend's derby clash at Manchester City.
Despite delays in completing the deal, Ferguson was happy for the Premier League to be extremely thorough.
"It is completely understandable the Premier League want to scrutinise every detail," he said.
"I am happy with that because then we know we are getting a player in the right circumstances, with everything clarified and cleared by the appropriate authorities."
"We know he is our player but even if it was all done today, I wouldn't use him on Sunday. It would more likely be against Manchester City next weekend."

The only positive of United taking a striker with obvious class? The fact that the cheating scum of West Ham United got almost nothing for it.
