What about Sandy Roberts!!!  this man knows football.... Or Bruce  For me Simon Hill is superb...... For Overseas nothing beats Martin Tyler and Andy "Free Header" Gray . Or Ray Warren. ;D  |

Martin Tyler is world-class. Simon Hill came of age at the World Cup, despite the fact he supports Man CIty.
In other sports, try the incomparable Phil Liggett for cycling, Grant Nisbett and the now-retired Bill McLaren for Rugby, David Morrow and Warren Ryan for League, Peter Roebuck and Richie Benaud for cricket, David Christison for Hockey, Dennis Commetti for AFL, Pat Summerall & John Madden for NFL (surely the best 1-2 commentary team in the history of sports), and Channel 7's Liz Chetkovich for Olympic Gymnastics. She's a massive snob, but my God she knows her stuff.
