Did anyone see the show on SBS last night - it was awesome.
The first tim ever they had a human dissection on television.
Last night they took the skin off and showed how big our biggest organ was. They also went through the muscles and joints and showed how they are interconnected.
They took the brain out and sliced it with a meat slicer in layers to show the inside.
They finished with the spine, spinal coloumn and major nerves. Aside from the subject thy had a live model and a skeleton. Very interesting stuff.
This is the first of a four part series

This is the first of a four part series i can do brains, because in psychology i had to lear what a brain looks like and what bit is what, but the rest i get a bit squeamish... i saw a bit of the show, but i couldn't sit and watch it. a bit stomach turning!

I saw that show, i couldnt look away...very interesting stuff. The removal of the largest organ(the skin) was a bit hard to watch, but still good.

Mmmmmm. I liek all that gory stuff, its really interesting, although i cant always watch it, i guess it depends on the show. I couldnt watch a sheep have maggots crawling in and out of its butt, but watching someone dissect someone else doesnt seem as bad.
