between cheap tickets (less than ten euros as compared to over 30 pounds in england), standing room (more atmosphere and cheaper tix), pretty standard match times (saturday afternoon for most games i think) and quite a few big big grounds and a lot of 40k+ grounds their crowds are certainly stronger than most. add that to a real 'true fans go to games' culture (which pretty much got wiped out of the uk after the taylor report recommendations removed both standing areas and accessible ticket prices) and you get massive regular club game crowds.
