Ha ha! A little story. For the last away game vs. Newcastle, my mate brought a friend of his along who was on hols from Melbourne. When they turned up @ my place, I asked if they wanted to bring along a Newcastle street directory, so we could get directly to the EAS (time was pushing along). My mate said don't worry, we've got a SatNav to get us there. As we approached the Newcastle turnoff on the F3, the blasted machine kept saying to go straight ahead! As we were heading into Newcastle, it kept saying to turn around (presumably to keep going along the F3). It was a bad omen I feel, and one we should have heeded, rather than sit there and watch the Mariners lose. But if we had followed the SatNav chances are we would have ended up at Coffs Harbour before it said "Turn off Freeway"....

Satnavs - pah. Colleague coming up from Sydney and trying to get to Baker St car park was directed over the bridge, into E Gosford and back along Henry Parry Drive.
Rang me from HPD and asked for the directions I had offerred to email.
