I think we should all have a minute silence to mark this occasion.

And so another American show in the vein of 90210 ends, all those t-shirts will be out of fashion.

not to mention the 2 kids, at least they didn't end up with them getting married, that would just be way over the top

I doubt it will, I think they did pretty much everything they could without it getting repetitive.... although they could always do what they did with Saved by the Bell

well they could have the babies going through high school together. then they would fall in love and then get married

Way too Clichéd..... and predictable, I'd like to think they would have a bit more imagination than that, although I may be giving the writers too much credit

I think they should have done us a favour and killed off Marissa back in season 1 when she had the drug OD in Tijuana. And then at least kill one of the main ones off near the end when they had the chance to be flattened by something in the earthquake. The last few episodes were the most boring ones yet! Booooooooooooooooooooo.....
Anyway. Now what am I going to waste my time watching... bring back Dawson's Creek!

The whole dynamic of the OC changed after they killed Marrissa, it just fell off... plus they had exhausted every avenue possible, well not quite, Ryan and Marrissa could have gotten married just before she died just to make it even more sappy... and lets not start on Dawson's Creek, although, now that Katie is married to Mr Couch Jumper they may be able to resurrect it, but somehow I don't think the original actors will be able to reprise their roles

Dawson's Creek was great! It had the best character death scene of all time. Dawson's dad in the car, dropped the top of his choc-top ice cream under the passenger seat, decides to fumble around under the seat while driving instead of pulling over first... *bang*! Classic TV.

Never really watched the show. I'd have to say the best death scene was from MASH, when Lt Cnl Henry Blake died. You never actually see him pass away but the way the O.R just kept doing what it had to do would have to be one of the most moving TV episodes of all time.
