This thread is a complete waste of space. So why am I reading it? Who gives a flying f@#k about the Knights? I live up here and couldn't care less. Football rules. Thuggery League sucks. i got pretty dirty on one fella who came on here and just posted about rugby union - basically spamming the joint and not participating in any discussions. this is different, as it's active forum members discussing something they're interested outside of football in the 'other stuff' section. live and let live, so the saying goes...

It was also started as a suggestion of the relationship between jest and knights crowds. Not absoluetly nothing to do with football.

I think that joey's retirement will have an impact on the people on the Knights bandwagon - esspically if the Nnights don't have a good season without joey. Some may decide to follow the jets as well because of this. The downside to joey's retirement is that the media won't let us forget about his retirement for a LONG time...

I'd think the loss of Joey will open up a lot of the salary cap for the kights to expand their squad.

But what will the newcastle herald fill it's pages with now?
It will be smaller than the central coast sun herald or the advocate now.

Aparently theres gunna be the big "GOODBYE JOEY" thing this week when knights play bunnys at BLUETOUNGE there tipping huge crowd between bunnys doing better then ever and scum losing there imbreeded god saying goodbye______does anyone think if they get this crowd it could impact the people who want a franchise on coast this game is expected to beat mariner crowds ???i reckon we'll be rite but if it keeps doing so well i fear bluetounge mite get some unwanted atention from league fans wanting there own team

They had a team they didn't support it! The only way a team will be put on the coast is if a team relocates to Gosford. The post super league fall out decided that 14 teams was the ideal size of the comp, they are now at 16 they will not expand.
the fact that any time they played city v country games at bluetongue it pretty much sold out and they still have refused to entertain the idea of a Gosford team suggests that one crowd of bunnies fans isn't going to change it. Can Newy fans find the freeway???

You can only answer that yourself. Maybe so you could post the below comment?
Errrrrrr...the people posting here about them & the those in the crowd average of 19K
Didn't they get 18K to the Blue Tongue game V the rabbits? They travel better than the jest huh. & no......if you look at the history of the Knights they were getting big crowds pre Johns era. There is also no reason why winter league suppoort would drop regardless of summer football support. Paying sports fans don't hibernate in winter & it doesn't hurt football support that they don't. Look to Melbourne if anyone needs an example.
