Equine Flu confirmed in Australia.

First case of Equine Flu has been confirmed from a sample taken from stables in Centennial Park, Sydney.
All equine activity has been stopped on the Eastern States of Australia, inc. all Horse racing, gymkanas, pony club events.
Furthermore, NSW has been declared a control zone with severe restrictions on the movements of horses.
The Federal Agriculture Minister, Peter McGauran has not ruled out the Equine Flu outbreak affecting the Spring Carnivals and the Melbourne Cup, in a worst case scenario.
