www.sfcu.com.au/smf/index.php?topic=3985.0Call me naive if you like, but is this as common these days as the thread above indicates, or are they just trying to be heroes? My 20yr old son tells me that it's blows him away how bad & rampant it is when he spends a night out at Sydney night clubs with his Sydney Uni based mate. Hard drug use I'm talking about btw.

Not sure about Syd, even tho I live here iv not really been out on the town, but I know the Gold Coast is huge for drugs. Id say 1 in 5 people out on the town are either selling of using, and thats from seeing it with my own eyes every weekend and most weeknights for a year.

I know that some of these can be fairly rampant amongst some of the Uni crowd... to the point that my little sister moved back to the Central Coast cause she couldn't find a clean housemate.

It's a scarey to think of all the fried brains in the next generation. A few months ago someone close to the family was forced to a admit his son into a phyc. ward for 2 weeks after he was found wandering the neighbours back yards in a daze. Docters said it was a psychosis brought on by long term pot use & he still isn't %100. The parent knew nothing of it beforehand.

Well its amazing how casually the Sydney FC supporters forum talks about drug use and how accepting they seem to be of hard drug use. That is not good for society. I cant believe Im saying this as a 21 year old sydney uni student but it really isnt good.

It really isn't good at all and it is pretty rampant which is sad, people just want to ignore what it does to you, that stuff messes you up and a lot of the stuff we're not even completely sure of what it does. I know plenty of people who have recovered from hard drug use and they're still recovering from their use over a decade on.
