Dru - I think the rules state for one disgraceful waste of space per code. Hmm but there are two Griffiths brothers up there. plus Jardel.

Jardel's more of a waste of space _on_ the field...... no idea about the Griffith's brothers though - Ryan seems nice enough.

What surprises me most about cousins is he can go to the USA. Has any normal person whos been to court on drug charges been allowed to travel out of the country NO....the perth media is more up his arse than Andy Harper is up juninho's.

Cousins is a joke, after seeing the rehab he went to it was clear he'd never really recover, no sympathy for Cousins at all, at least now he doesn't have a ridiculous pay packet to spend on drugs, hopefully he can go get some REAL help now.
Absolute waste of talent but he's gotten what he deserved he's had plenty of chances.

I'm sure 60 minutes will kick the tin when he does his next "I regret my actions" story.
Quite how you can do a little time in rehab and then go back to your old life and hope to stay clean is a mystery to me.

Now he will be set to make a fortune in compensation from his former club & sueing any media outlets or others that insinuated his guilt. The police are looking like proper fools.
While on the subject, I read somewhere, & I cannot remember where so I can't provide a link, the drug testing policy of the aleague & the ARU differs from both the AFL & NRL in that they do not test for recreational drugs, only performance enhancing drugs.
If anyone can find a link on the detail on the aleague testing policy I'd be interested.

Drug possession charges dropped. The judge asked if there were any costs to be awarded to the Defendant, and Cousins' lawyer said "oh maybe one or two million, but we'll take $50", and the judge gave them $50 in costs.
Some folks in the WA Police will be pretty nervous right now I suspect. There is also the allegation of a major sting operation as Cousins' ex teammate was busted at about the same time and premises searched whilst Cousins was pulled over. Clark's lawyers are demanding full tapes, surveillance footage etc. as they probably feel this was a huge stitch up.
Cousins is still facing charges of not submitting to a drugs test, which is now mandatory under WA law (much like the RBT laws). But given that those Laws were only enacted, I believe, in the week or so before the bust, he may well get off that with a slap on the wrist.

You are right Pete, there would be some nevous WA police officers.
