It'll be up to the coach anyway, and I'm sure Lawrie will go for the Midfield lynchpin (Spence) ahead of the young lanky centre back (Boogs)
And if not Lawrie I'm sure the rest of the Marinators would want to give you the honour.
Like I said I'd proud to pull it on for a while in the true leader's absence.

Yeah we gotta wear the bandanas If we go to shoot out I'm wearing the hat and an eyepatch. I wont know how far away the ball is but their goalie will be shitting himself

In all seriousness will you have a run MrC? I'd love to, but my past three starts I've broken down almost immediately. I'm happy to be on the 'officials bench' in some capacity and let the younger ones do the business, but if there is a chance to run on for a quick 10 minutes I'd be there. I've got my own crutches, so I'm covered! Now where the f#@*K are my boots?

I notice you changed the topic (yes I am a proof reading nazi)
I could play GK if we need one (I know AM & GK whats up?!)
As for bad tackling - I used to play League (eons ago, I've hated the game for a while, union ref) so it'd be an egg ball tackle.
We should take it to penalties anyway just for kicks, I (or whoever the GK is) could chuck a Dudek and run half way up the field before the ball is struck.

Love to play.Length of time would probably be as long as it takes the medicos to run on and drag me off soon after kick off but will have a dig.

Anywhere on the left preferably in the midfield.Speed was something I had 10 years ago so playing at the back may result in a few dubious challenges to avoid being pasted all afternoon.I do run a nice water bottle to.

I'm a Marathon runner so I am aware of some very interesting supplements on the market (Creatine is a banned supstance yet easily available!!!!). That just lets you know that I'm like Sully, I've got speed and it doesn't go away.

Ankle ligaments are shocking I couldn;t get my foot to kicking strength for months when I did them. As for reffing 6 weeks should be long enough keeping in mind the game will be snails pace.
if its down to this now you can put down a Jorome B
He was my sidekick at all the matches/selling the bandanas/playing snooker waiting for mick on that first day.
he'll play anywhere across midfield
