The CCSA (Murray Nettheim) has agreed to send an email to all soccer clubs on the coast requesting they put a link to www.marinators.net on their websites. Thanks Murray! I think we should put in extra work at this stage to make sure the content stays fresh to keep people coming back while the novelty is still there. I'm writing as we speak... I'm sure one of the BOTN boys will have a 10/10 match preview up for saturday

While not strictly Mariners related, I see the 'Mariners' as a community enterprise that involves the Marinators, local clubs and the official club all working together.

www.nufc.com is a great unofficial fansite that I think we could take some tips from. For instance they always have competitions for stuff like Music CDs, Newcastle United Season Review DVDs, NUFC strips and assorted signed gear. The prizes are given by local bussiness in exchange for a plug on the site. When the season gets started there will be more to talk about and the content will be fresh and maybe some competetions could keep the punters coming back for more. NUFC.com usually asks a NUFC trivia question and selects a winner from the correct answers. But the stuff we put up for comps could be used in raffles where we get profit. So I don't know but NUFC.com is definetely worth a look in for a great unofficial site.
