Hello all fellow marinators. It is with great sadness that I have to inform you that I have been 'head hunted' to work in Adelaide as from the 8th August 05. and therefore must leave the 'dock of the bay16' and head for unchartered waters in SA on the 1st Aug. We will be at the next 2 home games, but will unfortunately miss the season with you guys. From a 'work opportunity'and 'family opportunity' point of view, it is obviously too good to pass up, but does come at a huge cost, not the least of which is leaving family and friends behind. Our family's Marinators shirts will be worn with pride wherever we go (especially at Hindmarsh!) and of course, our hearts will always be yellow. I will look forward to catching up with you all again over the next 2 saturdays in the kendall bar and in the bay and would like to take this opportunity to say a huge THANKYOU to you all for what you have allowed me to be part of. I am and will be forever greatfull. Yours in yellow, Lou (aka jeff hall)

bloody hell first mick now this.
as mick said, totally stunned.
i have to say this guy has done as much work behind the scenes as anybody, the marinators will be losing both a major asset, but a good mate too.
we'll have to make these next two games really count now.

You're leaving?? But I thought what we had was special. What ever happened to "together forever". No, whatever, I don't care anymore. You leave. Goodbye.....What am I saying, I can't stay mad at you. Remember the good times we had. CWC,the photo shoot last week and the Marinators launch night. What we had seems short when it can be summed up in a single line but it was fun and we'll definetely miss you. We appreciate all that you have done for the Marinators and hope we'll see you sooner rather than later in back in Bay 16 yelling in sublime joy :- "You Beauty!"

Congratulations on the move mate, but disappointed to hear you are leaving only a couple of days after first meeting you, all the more incentive to head to Hindmarsh on the 24th of September or 20th of Jan, see you for the first couple of games mate, and good luck!

Yours in yellow, Lou (aka jeff hall) Just come on line ... two shocks today - my boss resigned and is out of here today, and our wonderfull Jeff (and his as wonderfull family) is going to the City of Churches ....I know which is the bigger shock! Mate, I met you last Tuesday, saw the fruits of your mighty labours on Saturday, and now you are off! The very best of Marinators wishes! Make sure you hook up with 'The Stand', and you are allowed to support Adelaide, unless we are playing them! Looks like one away trip that could have added meaning! See you Saturday.

What terrible timing, You've waited all these years on the coast for a team, now you have to leave. Best of luck Jeff. I'm sure you'll make it back for the finals series at home.

Damn! F$%k! S54t! Crap!
We cannot afford to lose Marinators of your calibre, Jeff.
From a selfish point of view - that's very bad news - Don't go!
From an unselfish point of view - all the best in SA, and good luck for the future. Hope to see you back in paradise one day, and on the terraces of Bay 16.
Has Saturday night's game now got special meaning or what! Let my pint be the first of many for you on the night.
Thanks for all the support, encouragement and effort for the website and Marinators in general.
Cheers & beers - Steve, Louise & Tiea
ps. I fly to Adelaide occasionally for work. Will try to look you up and have a pint at Adelaide's Belgian Beer Cafe, Elephand & Castle, or PJ O'Briens!

The origional Lou Macari was a team player.
And clearly, so are you.
Thanks for all the hard work, as has already been well documented. See you on sat Jeff.
