Gentlemen(and Ladies sorry mscanada)the guys at Fox want to do a piece on the Marinators tomorrow.They are looking at us because we are the most organised and recognisable thus far in the A League.They want footage of us singing and generally going off for the boys.They have also indicated they would love us to include total football or fox in a song.They want us around the 4.30 mark but will let us know just before so we need to get as many marinators as we can there a little early and put on a show theyll be talking about for a long time.There only other suggestion was the less intoxicated the better.mmmm GB?

Damn right the best fans, however at 4:30 will be in the CCLC Sports Bar watching the big screen semi fianal replay of our victory over the Victory, thats how dedicated we are.
Tell them to get some footage of that ( ask Charles), sure the Leaguesy won't mind the plug as it would also show how the Marinators have the support of the largest Leagues Club in the area.

They want us in the ground I think they are going to use it as part of the ad for the show to so Im not sure if filming us in a bar all with schooner in hand is the image they are wanting.I did suggest filming in the kendall to them originally.It also gives the young fans an opportunity to be involved to.

But can't we just be seen as whoring ourselves out to Fox, what is our comission  Good idea if we can drag people out from the bar, I have no problem with it, but they get get stuffed if they think we'll put Fox or Total Football in our chants (maybe if Total Football gave US a plug!) |

They are omni they are promoting our team and us before any other club.They want to show the public the new generation of supporter doesnt carry flares or look for trouble we are here for the team and to have a good time

I dont think we should worry ourselves with trying to fit Total Football / Fox into a song etc. We will get plenty of coverage throughout the A league year by just being

Thats a whole hour of $5 beers! CCLC $3 for that hour! I would love to give it a bash but Fox really need to be there at 5.25 if they want the full effect of the Marinators!

Omni match starts at 5:30 you fool. And without Fox there would be no A-League. I think the least we can do is show them some support. The Marinators aren't in a position to 'sell out'. Fish, you'll have to tell the Fox Sports boys that 4:30 wont cut it if they want the numbers there!

Concur WT, 5:25 in front of the Bay with mobile camera, otherwise I'm available for 1 on 1 interview with my fellow team mates at half-time. (which I think would give us better exposure in regards to our total numbers and will give Fox what they want in something to ' fill with' in regards to supporter groups)

there are some valid points raised here. most people will still be travelling or watching the game at the Kendall. It would seem a little slack to completely empty the bar after the club has opened it up (was it earlier than normal too?) for us and is airing the other game as well. and it gives newbies a chance to buy their shirts...

RR & WT: Yea, well when you have a free ticket you forget these things! I'm not saying deny fox, but they've got to work for us too, we're not going to write a chant for them (although WT's suggestions yesterday where entertaining) and we don't want to be at the game ludicrously early, 5.25 may cut it fine 5.15 is probably better. |

kendall usually opens at 6pm. Would be very unfair on the club.
