Lovely to meet you amber,
Dont worry about the shirt thing, I give everyone a hard time who wont wear one. Everyone supports in their own way and we cant force them to do otherwise, I was just riling you up. Good on you for coming up and saying hello though.

Let's leave the fence issue, had to jump up for some First Aid assistance after that.
Let's just hope it goes away, we can offer to fix it, had the photographer not have said run down to the front it wouldn't have happened and the fence should be stronger than that but we shouldn't have had anyone lean on it.
Well done Froggy for his great work from stopping it all becoming an absolute debarkle!

but we shouldn't have had anyone lean on it. Why not? Should we have stood back and admired it's beauty??

no but you don't need to lean on it, you can stand without leaning and if you can't drink less! It should be able to support, but we are in some way responsible.

Good to see you Mscanada and thanx for having the courage in stepping out from behind the PC! Froggy is a f**king legend for quickly keeping the kids off the turf and getting those on the ground up, so it was very obvious to the cameras rolling that a) no one was hurt and b) the crowd was under control. The fence looked like normal cyclone style fencing, and personally I'd prefer it to collapse under a strain than to hear of someone getting crushed into it if there was a crowd crush (not on this occassion, just too many folks leaning on it going f***king mental).

The 'job' of being a Marinator is one we gladly do for free and the the love of it, so does this mean the fence incident will be reported to Workcover and subsequent investigation to follow? ;D

There was a reason I was first aid, so reports etc. Would be avoided, Marinators look out for Marinators!

News Report:(assume radio voice when reading) Omni, first on scene, visibly worried as was without his 'stretcher'. No phone both nearby to change into his Vollie outfit and save the day!

I don't have the vollie outfit - we got half of it yesterday and I wasn't working.
Loved the call when one of the Mariners went down "GET OUT THERE OMNI!"

I can't believe I missed the fence incident!! I don't remember much of my Birthday dinner by the way, I was smashed by the time I left the stadium, therefore I didn't make it back to the Kendall post dinner
