I noticed something on Ticketek as I was looking to see where the World Cup Qualifier match was... Ticketek has listed the sections that "belong" to the fan clubs, I suppose so people don't inadvertently place their children in the middle of the rowdy fanatic groups.
As the Official fan club of the CC Mariners, I think the same should be done for the Marinators at Mariner's home games, so new people can come sit and people who dislike swearing, can place themselves further away........
Thoughts?

MsCanada - The reason they did it for the WCQ is that every seat is reserved (we're in Bay 23 if you're going), CCMFC matches are GA for our section and as such they can't do that. Now some (such as myself) would argue that the Marinators should have a seperate ticket and access to the bay should be monitored but hey.

The Sydney FC has special 'cove' membership for bay 23 at aussie stadium. I'm sure if it was really necessary something could be done even if it was just a general warning thing that the Marinators own bays 15-17. Anyone who has been to a match would know this anyway. Trust me the swearing issue isnt because people mistakingly near us and hear what we say. You can hear it quite clearly all the way around the stadium.

I would say that most people are aware that bay 16 is home to the Marinators by now! Agree with WT too about the swearing, that's not the issue. I think the stadium officials need to go to a match in Europe or South America and see what a real crowd is like!

we don't want people to be discouraged to come into our section
if you allocate seats for bay 16 then less people would join on the spur of the moment

i'm not talking seat allocation but more of the awareness factor.... as much as we know bay 16 is smarinators, spur of the moment people may not know and if I was a fringe football fan, sitting with the marinators wouldn't necessarily be my thing and i'd want to move...
saying that, the staadium has a lot of empty seats so not really a problem. i just wanted to see the marinators creditteed on Ticketek
