The swearing issue is a joke. We were asked by the Police not too and we didnt after. No offence to you guys but the ground sercurity are a joke . I mean we want to chant and chant and use swearing. We use it in the name of fun not intended for anything else. Now I wonder what would happen if it was an NRL match at CC Stadium? I respect the Police descision but not ground security and the ground security can f**k themselves.

If 300 people are swearing behind the goal what are they gonna do chuck us all out?

I remain quite surprised that we were asked to stop swearing. If it is based on complaints made to the club, I feel that this is a knee-jerk, pedantic reaction to people that are too PC for their own good.
The coppers that asked us to stop using the F-word were reasonable individuals who seemed almost sheepish in asking. We obliged for a while, but later on the swearing started again.
I went to the Knights-Bunnies game at Stade de Mariner earlier this year, and both sets of fans ripped into the abuse, using everything bar the c-word.
Having said all this, they've come down hard on standing on seats and throwing celery, it will only take one of us to get kicked out for swearing to make a difference.
We'll see how this evolves. It will be interesting to see how we react if the goons start throwing Marinators out; I suggest I won't be the only one making serious complaints to the "crowd controllers".
