G'day Guys,
Thought I'd tell you that I was on 2GB giving the Mariners a big wrap as well as the friendliness between ourselves, Perth Glory and Sydney FC fans before and after the games at the Kendall Bar. Football is getting a bad wrap because of these minnows in State League competition causing violence, and the A League and Football doesn't deserve this bad publicity.
Maybe the Marinators and The Cove need to get together for some good publicity on how fans from different clubs don't feel the need to punch each other in the head.

Come December, the Marinators could be all seated in Bay 16 singing Christmas Carols if the Police/Security/Stadium Management have their f***king way! We won't be allowed to sing anything else.

Nothing worth kicking up a stink about, I think we tell the club & stadium we weren't happy but it's nothing major, we don't NEED to swear!

Well which is it, you said we just have to roll over and accept it, now you're saying it'll solve itself. What makes you think the police are just going to let it slide if we behave a few times. They dont knock down a speed camera because it's not catching anyone.
'To each his own' is correct but when you constantly change what your own is it makes it hard!

I didn't say roll over and accept, I said talk to the club & stadium and ask about it, but you just seem to see me as a dickhead. I'm sick of it mate it's really starting to get to me, I can't handle the abuse at the moment.

i was referring more to the we dont need to swear comment, it was a bit out of context looking at the rest of your supply. like i said elsewhere, if you are taking this as abuse as opposed to heckling between the lads then you might be taking the forums too seriously!

I know it's all light hearted - but alas clinical depression isn't that simple (sorry to get all deep there, I've made no secret of my depression and I won't here).
We don't need to swear though, I think we look more intelligent when we don't but hey if you want to make it a bigger deal then it is go ahead. I do think they shouldn't have done it but at the same time there are bigger issues in the world.

On the swearing issue I think it's an absolute joke! We are watching a football game here not a MIss Universe contest, at the end of the day it's just a word get over it! We cause nobody any harm by any of the songs we sing, it's like being at school and the teacher sending you outside the classroom cause you say f***! It's bullshit!

I guess where the complaints stem from is that there are alot of non football followers attracted by the Mariners, and as such aren't use to the swearing hence the objections
