Hi,just to let you know that the Kendall will be opening at 1.00pm. Ben has promised to give me a copy of the 'Cup' win. Does 1.30pm sound about right to start showing it? Post match will be Sports bar for all wishing to celebrate the first victory of the new season. Anyone wishing to take Dad to pre-match Fathers Day lunch. The Club has an all you can eat seafood buffet, with prawns fish dishes roast and all the usual for $15. It opens at 11.30am. Wyoming I am trying to talk Ben into getting me a signed football for Sunday (dicey) But I will have soccer basket and few other things I can round up.I have scored another DVD for you to raffle off to add to your war chest. So keep an eye open for me, as I will you on Sunday. I hope those that were here on Friday enjoyed it. The quicker the League finishes the quicker we can show the full game on the big screen. Again please feel free to ask any questions you have about Sunday. Also please don't forget getting the sponsorship money from the Club for your banner as Trish is back from holidays and waiting your call. Unlike my missus she's dying to give money away. Thanks Charles CCLC

Hey charles, I don't know if you can answer this or not, but is the club considering sponsoring the mariners too?

I'm afraid thats a bit above my head. I do know things are tight. I do know that the Clubs relationship with the Marinators can only be a positive towards this. Our purchasing manager is proposing to purchase from businesses who sponsor the Mariners where possible. I have asked the Mariners for a list of their sponsors, and am waiting their reply. If I hear something I will let you know. On the Club buffet, if you are thinking of coming in BE EARLY as there is another big sporting competition in town on the day.

John said he actualy gave you 250. Could I keep a couple for the bar. Also please remember not to overuse them in the Club. I do not want to spend the day explaining to the Club that they are not WMD. Thanks Charles CCLC

Thanks Charles CCLC keep some for yourselves point taken about the thundersticks - security as they are might mistake them for baseball bats!

Is there a raffle organised for this weekend? We could sell huge quantities in the stadium if the prize does turn out to be a signed ball, here's hoping, while filling the Marinators coffers without any expenditure. I'll gladly head over to the stadium early to sell tickets all around the stands if that is alright with CCMFC. Or selling to the people before they go in, while they are lining up. I'll postpone getting drunk until after the game to do it. ;D

Does someone have the raffle ticket stuff that Lou used? Fish??? If not I will buy a heap of raffle ticket books from the newsagent and try to get a few cloth bags from the bank. Any volunteers for selling them out the front of the stade des mariners from about 2 until just before kick-off? It will mean less drinking pre-match, but I'm sure if we sell enough noone would mind if we subsidised the price of a beer from the earnings to reward our hard work.
