We got a little mention in the Newcastle Herald today
"The Mariners supporters group the Marinators has a host of former Newcastle Rowdies in its ranks and should provide plenty of atmosphere"
The strange thing is there wasnt even a mention of the squadron in the paper at all

i doubt many newcastle 'i swear venables is coming soon' jets fans will be in attendance. same as their pathetic WCCC turnout

U guys pulled in a big crowd today.... yeah the crowd was disappointing i doubt any of us will disagree. it rained people stayed away which was exactly what some where predicting to happen. some would of also gone last night. but remember there was more of us than there were of you. |

and middle of the day on father day in the rain with the local clubs playing their semi-finals.... recipe for disaster if you ask me.
oh, and Newcastle is oh-so-good so we'd all be rushing out to buy our tickets and not miss the game! NOT!
