Marinators Fantasy A-League (proudly sponsored by the Central Coast Leagues Club)
Welcome to the Marinators Fantasy A-League game, proudly sponsored by the Central Coast Leagues Club.
You have seen the English Premiership fantasy games, well now we have the Hyundai A-League! You have a budget of 50 points to select 11 A-League players that you think will win you the ulimate prize, knowedge that you are the fantasy A-League Champion.
The A-League kicks off in less than a week with the first game on Friday 25th August, so don't delay, join marinators.net and select your team of A-League stars.
Creating a username and password
The first step is to create your own username and password*, if you are not a current member this can be done by filling in the registration form which can either be found on the front page on the left hand side, or simply click on the below link.

Once you are a member an activation link shall be sent to your email address, you will need to activate your membership before proceeding. Once this is activated just log in and you are ready to select your team.

Selecting your squad
First thing you need to do once you are logged in and ready to select your squad is locate the Fantasy Football option under the user menu, follow the instructions, give your team a name and follow these important rules.
Your aim as a Fantasy League manager is simple - pick your squad of 11 A-League stars from your budget of 50 points. All players and prices are listed on our player list, so send your scouts off in that direction, but don't worry too much about your accounting skills, as our system will give you a running total, once you start selecting your players. Just follow these simple 4 rules :
*The budget cannot exceed 50 points.
*You must choose the formation 4-4-2 in the format of 1 Goalkeeper, 2 Fullbacks, 2 Centrebacks, 4 Midfielders and 2 Attackers.
*Only 2 players from each club can be selected.
*Only 2 transfers per calendar month are available.
Scoring points
Your players will score points based on how they perform in completed A-League matches. The scoring system is simple, so you can sit back, relax, and count the points as the goals fly in.
Points are scored in the following ways:
All players
Goal - 3 points
Assist - 2 points
Goal Keepers and Defenders only
Appearance - 1 point (Minimum 45 mins played)
Clean Sheet - 3 points (Minimum 75 mins played, includes appearance point)
Goal conceded - -1 point
Prizes
Our friends at the Central Coast Leagues Club have again showed their continued support for the Marinators by agreeing to sponsor the Hyundai A-League fantasy game. All prizes will only be able to be claimed by Central Coast residents or of course Central Coast Mariners fans, however if you live outside the Central Coast and support another A-League team please feel free to play and join in the fantasy A-League fun. The highest placed 3 Central Coast residents or Mainers fans will see the following prizes:
1. A DVD player and a $30 meal voucher at the Central Coast Leagues Club.
2. 2 movie vouchers, a football and a $30 meal voucher at the Central Coast Leagues Club.
3. A beer basket, a football and a $30 meal voucher at the Central Coast Leagues Club.

The cost of entering the Marinators fantasy league is NOTHING, absolutely free!
However, what we do ask if possible is
