Spotted this on Wikipedia. Maybe we should be calling the Squadron 'nuggets' instead. Maybe we can add a new banner to the great "Bogan free zone' one. ;D
"A "nugget" is a particularly unintelligent bogan . Nuggets are sometimes confident and opinionated, lacking formal education but making up for it in attitude. Nuggets are always less intelligent than they realise."

but the thing about this site is that i think it's done by coasties. see, i think (on average, there are exceptions to every rule) we're a little less insular and have a smaller chip on our shoulder than do our northern neighbours. yeah, we've got some bogans, and we're prepared to have a laugh about it.
having a sense of humour is the most important part - we've got the capacity to have a laugh. beats the hell out of looking around and whinging in a pathetic mix of self-loathing and denial.

You know if you zoom in on that picture, the car has some of the players signatures. On the front its definately gumpy's. Can't make out the rest.

The players signed it when it turned up at the farewell event in Gosford before they headed to Adelaide.
Where was it before they made the prelim final? Why weren't the kids who owned it wearing any Mariners gear? I may well be wrong, but this is why I have always called it the original bandwagon.

Speaking of bogans, the teenagers in bay 15 wearing flanno weren't exactly doing us any favours (I had a bunch of people from Qld, Adelaide, Newie and Sydney with me.....bit hard to convince them the coast aren't bogans when there's a group wearing flanno!! lol)
