Danny. He once again saved our butt. Our defense was woeful and that old hack who Adelaide paid to much for, as lazy as he was, made it look poor. Yes I realise who he is and how good he used to be. But our defence should be better. But props to Danny. And an honourable mention to Kwassildinho!

So many to choose from. Most played well enough to be in the points all made mistakes at some stage or another. But as Wally Lewis once said it is those that are in the game and trying to do things who make mistakes.
SP and Kwassy out wide are having an enormous impact to our success at the moment both are up and down the field each doing the work of two. Both are being creative and putting themselves in great positions to create chances which other players would still be thinking about.
Danny you get used to being brilliant and maybe he does not get enough credit.
The back four are playing well it is just that when you make a mistake there it is more obvious.
The defence in the second half was a credit and we kept forcing them back, points to the midfield for that. It is good to see them not dropping back to defend in our own half. Spenny will fight to get back although Macca may have left an opening with that yellow.
Good to see the spark when Tommy came on, probably the fastest over 10 metres in the League.

What a revelation Browny has been since being converted to left back. In three weeks has marked Griffiths, Buari and Dodd out of the matches.
Did anyone hear a peep out of Travis Dodd Saturday night? The greatest compliment for Browny came when Dodd was subbed.
Two clean sheets in two games from our defence.
Clarky and Stringers will find it hard to get back in the starting team.

Even his beard is looking good. and browny is so eager to chat to anyone about anything most of the lads are, but he is so great with the fans and it is often yourself who has to pull away with a conversation with him don't ever get on the topic of fishing or you could be there for hours |

Hasn't Jedi been an absolute revalation, We need to do all we can I think to keep him on the team. I could draft up a him vs spenny diagram, but hey, im lazy, and Jedi sounds better than Spenny anyway. He attacks, and that mentality finally seems to have trickled a little into the team. Massive props to Jedi for just being Jedi. As for Kwassy, well, serious will tell you that I always believed in him, and it seems to me like he is starting to come good, especially in his current role. He works hard, is always probing, and if he misses 5 chances out of 5, well, at least he's making chances you know? Lately he seems a threat whenever he is on the ball. Danny Vukovic is awesome. We should pay our taxes straight to Danny just for being so damn awesome. Any other team in the league who says thier keeper is better are just plain being blind, ignorant fanboys, and they know it. The single-handed saviour of our team (who isn't Mori). Vidmar also continues to impress, while im starting to wonder about Hutcho man. Seems disinterested sometimes. My opinions! Who wants to kill me?! |
