Thanks to a forgetful Glory fan, yours truly picked up a very heavy souvenier in the Kendall Bar just before the match today. Sitting all alone, looking rather homesick, was the Glory's big bell (Is that what Glory use as a sex toy on those lonely away trips? Hmmmmmm.)
OWNED! Smuggled past security, the Marinators had great delight rubbing the Glory's nose in it for the whole match. Many impromptu songs like "You're not ringing anymore!" added to the fun.
A few candid photo's taken after we plastered the bell with a big Mariners sticker will appear here shortly.
As the Glory were such a top bunch of fans, the bell was returned, with the Mariners sticker, immediately after the match.
I met up with the poor guy who lost the bell after the match in the Club. He looked shattered. Apparently on their four day away trip, they hold a Kangaroo Court every breakfast. He's not looking forward to getting up tommorrow morning!
I told him that it could be worse. He could have lost it up in Scumland, and it would've been melted down to make dodgy 20c pieces by now!

Loved having the bell. Loved seeing all the glory fans peering over everytime the bell was rang

This was Classic, But i am glad we don't have a Bloody bell It gets very annoying. I agree it was annoying (not as annoying as for the Glory fans, but still not something I'd want to see as part of our 'orchestra'.) My wrists are very sore this morning from ringing the heavy thing too.

Lucky you didn't post about your sore wrist on the Jets forum Celery as you would only add fuel to your huge reputation in Newy as having the most used wrist in town
