can't beat the good old you shag sheep chant when the keeper takes a goal kick :
Oooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh You shag sheep Baaaaaaaaaaa
followed by 2-3 minutes of Baaaaaaaaaaa Baaaaaaaaaaaa Baaaaaaaaaaaaa
Also -
Oh New Zealand (Oh New Zealand) Is full of sheep (is full of sheep) Oh New Zealand is full of sheep It's full of sheep, sheep and more sheep Oh New Zealand is full of sheep
typical English song to the taffs also :
sheep sheep sheep shag*ers sheep sheep sheep shag*ers
Seriously thou - should keep these to a minimum and concentrate on player chants and Yellow chants etc..........

Here's one that we once sang in the Bobstand.
to the tune of Walk Like A Man
Don't shag a ram Don't shag a ram Don't shag a ram round here 'Cos shagging rams is wrong And it's against the law So don't shag a ram round here.

Its not often I agree with DJ, but he's right. We need to stick to the player chants and general team / yellow chants. The boy's love it when we sing about them, especially when its individual chants. Plus, they're the chants we know the best, rather than slapping another one together that's not going to co-ordinated or loud.

Bah, we gotta have some digs at the opposition ;-) But after the first Sydney match at home this year I think we learnt that yes, you can take it too far. I think we've learnt our lesson, and realised that you want MOST of your chants to be supporting your team and not bagging out the opposition. Besides, there's not enough NZ supporters to get too excited about bagging them out

IMO you need the variety and humour to keep spirit and participation high in the bay.
Towards the end of the match when the boys need our support most people tend to get into every song but during the middle of the match they're not interested in another 'EIEIEIO'.
Hopefully tonight people realise how crucial it is and join in throughout.

All they need is a few brave souls to lead. A few of the side bays were making a lot of noise, and had a simple chant going for a couple of minutes at one stage. They're not all a lost cause!

Guys,
I was in a corporate box last home game (a-thank-u) and the crowd outside of bay 16 was GOING OFF at certain moments of the game.
The other night on fox Watford fans in the EPL sang "YELLOW ARMY CLAP CLAP" over and over for about 15 minutes. It dont take long for the whole stadium to join in and it sounds FANTASTIC!!!!!
Im suggesting this tonight, for at least 10 minutes, straight after kick off. NO INTERUPTIONS, unless we score. Thoughts???

thoughts? most of the people in the bay will tire of it in two minutes and it will just fade, unless we get really passionate from the start and tell everyone what theyre in for. it could work, but dont fade off, youre in it from start til finish.
when everyone gets to their spot in the bay, just stand straight away, get the atmosphere cranking well before the game.
