As you may or may not know, MarinerMum's (Genevive) partner Lindsay fell off a roof into a skip bin over the weekend and was rushed by careflight to Royal NorthShore Hospital. He ended up with 2 fractures to skull, broken ribs, broken collar bone, broken wrist and blood clot on brain. They operated on him and are happy that they removed the clot and repaired breaks. He was in ICU until today, and they are moving him to a ward later this avo. Genevive said he was in better spirits this morning (Mon 15th) ;D Our thoughts of good wishes and speedy recovery are with Lindsay, 'Mum' & the family at this trying time.

I was shocked when I heard this on Saturday. Lindsay is a great supporter and a very tolerant man to put up with Gen and the family.
Here's to a speedy recovery Lindsay.
Jeff, maybe you can print out all the well wishes and pass them on to Lindsay or to Jimmy or Pom Pom who will get them to him?

To Gen & the Kid's, I hope Lindsay makes a full & speedy recovery. Also Gen could you please pass on to Lind's that all of us on here and those in Bay16 know full well that, despite falling into the skip-bin & despite the rumour's that are circulating, Lindsay was not, I repeat WAS NOT! "looking for something to eat" nor did rescuers locate any "dead rat's". Best Wishes & get back to the Bay soon mate.

WOW, Sorry to hear that Gen & Family, but it's good to hear that the operations went well, shame he won't be at Round 21, but I'm sure he'll be back to his best for 2007-2008.
Best Wishes, will be thinking of you all.

Trust Lindsay to be such a Mariners supporter that he will even follow them in their injury run to show his true colours!
Lindsay, did you see any Jets supporters in the dustbin?

I drove gen and lindsays kids down to RNS yesterday to see their dad as they hadn't seen him since the accident..Lindsay pretty broken..but gen said he had improved slowly since the op..broken shoulder/shoulder blade..plate in broken wrist..two broken ribs..wound to skull where operated on blood clot..right eye pretty bruised and swollen..he still managed a few smart jokes and gen was back to her same old self..teasing him as usual..relieved he is on the mend..i think gen said he will be in RNS for at least 2 weeks..gen says she will have to bring her blow up doll in replacement of Lindsay as her partner to the game sunday lol
