If you want to help distribute balloons and streamers before the game, meet me at the palmtrees entrance to the stadium at 4pm.

Top effort and well done Lou and Family for getting in there early to set this up.
Had a quick look at the replay of the game when I got home, shame that FOX only showed it for like 2 seconds, if that, and it was a tight shot. A longer shot showing all 3 bays would have done the treat.
Maybe next time the club can help us liase with FOX to be a bit more co-ordinated with cutting to and fro from the players walking out , lining up etc. If they know what we have gone to, the expense and time/effort for a tiffo display, then all we ask FOX is please, get a decent shot of it.
Makes more people watching on FOX want to come to a game.

I was standing down the front and saw it. It looked awesome. It was really exciting to see. Thanks to the Macari's and anyone else who organised the supplies.

Yes, thanks to all those who came down at 4pm and braved the scorching heat to help out! It was definately worth it from where I was (down the front yelling myself stupid!)
Lots of others tell me that from other parts of the ground, it looked unreal too.

well done lou and to all who helped him out setting the whole display out, its a shame all the little kids had to wreck it and take other peoples streamers and throw them early

Was fantastic. A Polish cousin (visiting) also game to the match with me and actually though the match good - maybe we just know how well we were compared to Sunday- and quite liked the whole tiffo thing. Also was impressed with the fact that we sung 3-0 down, and also impressed with the almighty roar when tommy scored that beauty. M

any photos/video of the display, or even the rest of the game? Yep, got some video of the display (almost missed it due to the pre-match shenanigans). Not much footage of anything else; waited so long for a goal i was out of battery. Bear with me though, i've never put video on the net before. i'll try to get it happening tuesday. THANKS Lou & team - great job, love to see more like it next year.

FOX showed the streamers being thrown insted of the players walking to there line-up position. which is about a 2 second thing. I think considering robbie slater was splurting out his usual garbage at the time we were throwing the streamers we were lucky just to get the 2.541 sec look at the display.

Those yellow docket rockets looked good on the weekend.
You know those ones that make a mess. The ones you bagged The Squadron out for?

The ones you bagged The Squadron out for? \ difference being we got permission from the club and the stadium to use them they knew they were coming, allocated someone to clean them, and we didn't give them any extra cleaning hassles the difference is being respectful to your club and environment but i suppose you guys play out of a tip anyway so it is easy not to be worried about your environment

Those yellow docket rockets looked good on the weekend. You know those ones that make a mess. The ones you bagged The Squadron out for? Firstly they weren't 'docket rockets'. They were streamers and when thrown wouldn't injure anyone, unlike the docket rolls that you lot use. Cop one of those to the back of the head and I reckon it would knock a person unconcious. Secondly, It was a one time occurance, and didn't mess up the field like the torn up shop-a-dockets that you smuggle into EAS in Jatz boxes.
