Totally Agree with Sandman 100%
i felt like turning around and hittting those little shi**s sitting behind me when they were chanting abuse at the team. and WTF is with every1 giving Kwasie crap after the match - anyone think to put them selves in his shoes?
U play your heart out miss a couple of shots and every1 does every so often and then u get several 100 people yelling abuse at you! like WTF? im sure we'd all feel nice after that wouldnt we.
Dsgusted.

You accusing Knights fans of being bandwagoners? Mate, in the first half of 2005, I got a taste of what it must have been like being a Norths fan in the 60's and 70's. I think I was accusing you of being very clever trolls, coming on the forum to undermine the team.

1 player cops some shit, and we get all this as a response. I cant believe this. Only a short plane trip away Coventry fans we singing "Were shittttttt, and weve hade enough. Were shitttttt, and weve had enough" at the way there team and coach had been performing. I cant imagine what would happen if the boys play this shit for another whole season. I guess it is not as bad as you cop on the golf course. ;D

i agree that old heads must get in there, get them all together and pack out the core of the bay.
got the shits when people booed Kwasnik at the announcement of his name, very undeserving of that reception and i was not happy.
i was disgruntled just as much as the next Marinator, im just gulping it down because i know this is how football works for a fan, gee it can be great but sometimes it makes you wish you were never involved. also football can reflect life in many ways, youre upset and you look to the first person to point the finger at for all the faults that are eating at you.(this for some reason unknown to me is Kwasnik). this is the norm of what its like to support the losing team in football. what goes up must come down sometimes.
regardless of what happened last night and this season, i will be there next season.

There seemed to be 3 points where Kwas copped it. Taking them in order, my 2 bobs worth is:-
1) Before the game......... I was getting a beer and heard the "grumble" from the West stand. I have seen a lot of football here and overseas and that was new for me. It seemed to be more of a collective groan than booing. That might reflect more on the frustration people have been feeling than anything else??
2) During the game............throwing your hands in the air and letting out a strong "oh ffs" when a chance is missed etc is part and parcel of the game and will always happen. The one song I heard seemed more a joking kind of black humour than a deliberate attack. Terrace humour when a team is struggling is usually pretty gloomy. By then, everyone around me had pretty much given up on the game and everyone seemed pretty light hearted TBH
3) After the game. Not on at all. Sure, I was mega disappointed and fed up with the half hearted tripe served up but when they came round I stayed and clapped. Who ever took it upon themselves to have go from the front, understand your frustration but we can do without that stuff.
Excited about next season already :-)

Orange was great fun. Except for when one of the local girls wanted to bash me up. Why? I still have absolutely no idea. We were all dancing on the dance floor, and she came over to me, twice, yelled in my face and walked off. I don't know what she said, plus she had to push past two others to do so. I'm still baffled.

The individual in question was a toothless, drunken feral from Weliington who had a head like a smashed crab and was looking for a fight. She happened to pick on Teri, for no reason whatsoever. Charming bit of gear, NOTTTTTTTTT!!!

I admit I was quite unhappy with Kwasnik and also the team effort moreso - but no way am I giving up on the Mariners. I'm Mariners til I die, I'm Mariners til I die...

bay 16 was disgraceful on the night but huge credit to dibo for hanging in there and starting alot of chants Big credit also needs to go to the couple of girls up the back who for the last 15/20 minutes were singing pretty much non stop, when a chant stopped and I'd look around and see them trying something else.
