If someone joins and posts something great first up, I will agree with it and respect it as much as if my fellow 'socceroo/matildas' posted it. If they post rubbish, I'll write it off as rubbish, just like everything omni says.
This forum is unique in that it's probably more personality driven than ideas driven. Ie what do the same 20 people think about each new issue rather than what do 20 new people think about the same old issues. This can make it tough for even the smart noobs with good intentions. But trust me, if you post decent, you'll make it OK.
The problem is that, statistically, most new posters are one-thread wonders who are here just to let off steam that has built up when no one who sits around them wants to listen to their shithouse opinions. They see the team as a form of entertainment who must reach their expectations, like when you pay to see a movie. I would say most of the longer term posters and actual contributors to the supporting/celebrating of the club in the Kendall and whatnot are in it as more of a journey.
Some of us will outlast the club. Others will be eventually gone, maybe to return when things go right before complaining again and eventually leaving again.
