I know there is another thread relating to this but just thought it would be easier to set it up so it was all relative to him These messages will be passed on to Spenny so if you have appreciated what he contributed please feel free to post.Sarcasm doesnt have a place here though

Noel, thank you for all you've done on and off the field for the Mariners in the last 2 seasons. It's hard the believe that the face leading the Mariners to the inaugural A-League Grand Final and which beams from the four 06/07 Season draw magnets on our fridge won't be out there in the yellow and navy next season.
Your approachability whenever seen out around the Coast is an important part of what has cemented the Mariners to this community, which has help it to become in 2 years the exciting and unique football supporting region it is - exclusive in Australia, even.
That goal (NOT your A-League goal of the year last season!) off the wall at Aussie rates as one of the most memorable and unforgetable sporting moments on my life.
You will be missed. All the best for the future.

Spencer did a tremendous amount of work behind the scenes especially in the first year! Attending schools and promoting a new team on the coast was not an easy task and was very time consuming. We wish you all the best in the future but not when you play against the Mariners

As mentioned above, the win against Syd FC in extra time and the rain still remains my "A-League moment of ectasy".
Afterwards as our capatain, you lead & encouraged the boys to meet the dedicated fans that were there that night at the fence. This moment 'set it in stone', 'injected and addicted in my veins' to be NOTHING BUT a 'Mariner till I die'.
Despite your departure and the possibility of another HAL team shirt being on your back, I feel that deep down you too will feel that you will be a 'Mariner til you die' and accordingly I and many others will see you as a 'brother in arms'.
Best of Luck Spenny.
