Oh, forgot to mention that you should bring a jacket just in case it gets cold at Wollombi. Then it is probably not advisable to wear shorts.
Forecast is for a light shower. Max 24
Don't forget it is St Patrick's Day so wear green if you are game!

Just arrived back after another top day. Thanks to MarinerMick for organising it (again). As always, everything went smoothly, leaving 30-odd of us to relax and enjoy the wine, the good company and the day. Thanks too, to all on the bus for putting up with the little 'Celery Stick'. She had a ball, and was totally exhausted at the end. Cheers, Steve, Louise, Teia ps. On the way to Wollombi, near the Golden Grape, we passed a winery that looked quite nice. One that I've not seen before. Shades of Tuscany. Maybe mark it down for the 3rd Annual Marinators Winery Tour! www.iron-gate-estate.com.au/

It was a great day - the only downer is that Dad may have left a bottle of port (or muscat, he cant remember) from Tamburlaine Wines on the bus. It was up on the 'shelf' near the front of the bus. Did anyone come across it?

Yep, another great day out. Thanks Mick for the task of organising the trip and sweating over numbers. I just wish I hadn't wiped myself out at the first winery ..... and we do seem to break the drought at Wollombi each year! All of us got trained back home OK. Nice to meet some new people too.
PS. MrC I have been to 'Tuscany' ... pretty much a stainless steel sort of place. A return to Briar Ridge or somewhere else at Mt View would do.
