Saturday 17 March
9am - Leaves Central Coast Leagues Club (be there earlier as it will LEAVE at this time) 10:15am Oakvale Estate 11:30am Wandin Valley Estate 12:30pm Individual choice of lunch at Harrigans Pub (at own expense) OR to be dropped off at Hunter Valley Gardens Village (to have your own lunch, buy from the takeaway shop or visit McGuigans cheese factory) 2:30pm Tamburlaine Wines (no preservatives and organic wines) 4:00pm Golden Grape Estate (Schnapps and Champagne) 5:30pm Wollombi Pub 9:00pm Central Coast Leagues Club
Note: I have tried to accommodate requests but many of the wineries suggested were too small to handle our size. Groups of around fifty are actually difficult to accommodate. You will not be disappointed by the choices.
Cost: $30 (includes bus travel and tastings)
If you RSVP then are committed to coming. By pulling out at the last minute or not showing up you have denied other people a place on the bus and have incurred charges on the whole of the group through my RSVPs at the wineries.
If you are coming to this event please PM me and I will include you on the list below. Also PM me your mobile number and real name. There are only 53 spots available.
Winery Tour 1. Marinermick (Mick) 2. Honeysoy (Lamese) 3. Marconigirl (Lowenna) 4. Auburn Mariner (David) 5. Merry (Merrillie) 6. Bear (Micthell) 7. Melsy (Melinda) 8. Robyn (Honeysoy's friend) 9. from a Mariner fan in Bay 6, I still can't go with the new date, it's in the cricket season and I have a canteen to run during the finals series.
I need this trip to be on the 31st when the Lisarow/Ourimbah cricketers have their weekend away so I can do something.

If I did it any later it would encroach on the Mariners Preso weekend, easter and then football season.

Looks a good line up Mick, well done. You are right, coaches are frowned upon by many smaller wineries (especially football coaches ;D). So a good balance of new and old 'regulars'.
What's the deal for those who would like to attend the tastings (and contribute) but don't need the coach because we live up that way?
If it's OK, please add:
MrCelery (Steve) MrsCelery (Louise) JnrCelery (Teia)
If you can't accommodate us for the tastings, no problem. We'll just tag along behind (or in front of) the bus and be independent visitors (that by coincidence just happen to be wearing yellow!).
ps. You'd be interested to know that this tour is the weekend before a big Rowdies reunion for Dave Morley's wedding!

So it is OK if my non footballing wife, who is half-Irish, wears green, yeah? I can confirm she is half-Irish as she says she is half Irish, Half Scots, and Half English! As a Cornish Celt is just ignore the 'sawson' contamination... Kevrenor (bordering on ethnic abuse ... sorry fellow mods) Also my thanks MM.

Celery,
SACRE BLEU!!! Your daughter's name is, and always will be, Celery Stick!!!
Kevrenor, I'd be ignoring my English heritage if I had Scots & Irish blood in my veins as well!!!
Wonder if Helium Girl will be on duty at the Golden Grape this time? Junior will be 3-4 months old by then, so she may be back at work.
Great to see so many of the female Marinators attending. Guys, where are you???

I'll suggest it to Dave, although he's strictly boring when it comes to alcohol - totally abstains. He's a mung bean munching, tofu eating, goat's milk drinking, yoga loving kinda guy!

Come on people, we need to round up another nine. Tell mates, family, work friends, whoever.
Melsy, you can give me cash on the day.
