Well I'll fill you all in
2-1 loss to the cove in the first game, Eggy scored the goal and we just let them in late.
3-0 loss to Aussies on tour, myself missing a goal (of course) and Auburn having a blinder in goals
Lokomtiv cove won the day 5-4 in the final against the Aussies
Thanks to all who played, did well, Eric did really well given he's never played before. Auburn had a screamer in goals and Eggy was his usual self. Thanks to Brett & Dibo who set up the formation (or the idea of it) on the day.

Well done to Omni, who put heaps of work in getting everyone there. And then backing up to referee the final, good work Christopher.
Much credit must go to Tiger & Dibo, who played themselves to a standstill. Nutmeg, T & Chimmi performed well, T especially dangerous on the left wing.
Thanks to the Loko and AOT lads for filling in for us, giving us 11 players on the paddock and a sub or two.
I must admit I was very, very reluctant to play, but I had a blast and REALLY enjoyed playing for the first time in 21 years. I am so sore now (after doing the Stadium Australia-Lidcombe Sprint Platform marathon) that I am tipping a day in front of the TV tomorrow to recover.
A great day, many thanks to all, next time we'll host a day a Mingara and get some really good numbers.

Hi there lads! I sat our for two of my local club's matches just to make sure my knee held up for yesterday (recovering from a cartilage tear) and I'm definately glad I did it! All games were awesome, it was great to meet you all and I sure do hope we can do it again. If any of you lads are heading to Asia in July be sure to let us know for I'd be keen to get to the beer with you all. Every muscle in my body is bruised and sore right now all except for my head. I clearly didn't drink enough last night! Thanks again for the games.. Ian (that keeper guy)

not everyone is going to the uruguay game and can afford a whole day and night in sydney different to one match at mingara I'm not going to the Uruguay game, and I have 4 uni assignments to do, the people doing this are giving up a lot to do it. I just would have thought we could get eleven people rather than nine well done to everyone involved and to omni and auburn for organising omni, you are hardly in a position to preach as you have missed plenty of marinator events others have organised we are grateful you have organised this event but people cannot be everywhere all the time

After the two games for the Marinators and helping out Aussies on Tour for most of the final I probably played about 140 minutes or so. Backing up to play the full game for Budgewoi at 9am yesterday...and I am farked today!
I accidentally took my Gosford shirt home. Who does it need to get to?

Yup I’m exhausted and i only played the two on Sat and our Sunday game wasn't till 2:45...and none of those was a full game ! It was a great day. Big thanks to ianski for his fantastic keeping, and all the other Sydney and AOT players who agreed to wear the red shirt for us. I accidentally took my Gosford shirt home. Who does it need to get to? Brett - the shirt can go Nutmeg.

Cheers to one and all. Omni and Auburn for firstly organising our end as well as playing. Chimmi, T and Nutmeg you guys did well. Eggy it was a cross I don't call eggy when I'm shooting always dangerous, well to the players anyway. Brett and Dibo for being the centre of the team and working your guts out. Eric did well. To the cove and AOT cheers for a fun day and a big thanks for those who backed up for us. especially ianski. A big cheers to benw and Northernspirit for organising the day. 7 hours of contact sports over 3 days coupled with 80 minutes of football, never let me do that again I blame the football for the calves, the rest I guess I have to blame myself.
